ABOUT US

Tutors For Change is a youth led organization dedicated to helping aspiring scholars in their pursuit for a greater education through providing affordable educational resources and services. We are a union of High School upperclassmen that are on the honor roll and can teach grades K-12 a variety of subjects (including AP subjects). We charge $10 an hour, and will donate 100% of our profits to Black Lives Matter organizations.

TUTORS FOR CHANGE SERVICES
We Put Your Needs First
We provide a flexible schedule allowing you to choose when and how often you would like your child's sessions to occur. Each session is over Zoom and lasts approximately an hour, costing $10. We tutor a wide range of topics, including K-12 math (including calculus and honors), K-12 English (Including AP), AP/Honors Chemistry, Biology (including AP), and Physics (including AP).
QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS
We provide experienced, academically proficient upperclassmen tutors to cater specifically to your child's needs. They are all sufficiently qualified to teach a variety of elementary, middle school, and high school subjects based on the request of the consumer.
BOOKING SESSIONS
In order to book a session, contact us through email, text, or over Instagram with your preferred subject, times, and dates. Parents are welcome to sit in on each class, particularly on the preliminary trial session. If you do not feel that your child's needs are being met, you may request a refund or cancel at any time.

Emily Suh- Founder and Co-President
Emily is a rising junior at Torrey Pines High School and has multiple years of experience volunteering as a teacher's assistant to help educate children and create curriculum. She has experience tutoring younger children and takes advanced high school courses.

Tamara Andrijanic - Vice President
Tamara is a rising junior at Torrey Pines High School and has experience tutoring at Solana Pacific Elementary School, Sage Canyon Elementary School, and Carmel Valley Middle School with established programs such as Science Olympiad. Additionally, she has experience working with children in the Coastal Canyon TSD program taking place in Ocean Air.

Alex Yeh- Secretary
Alex is a rising senior at Torrey Pines High School. He has multiple years of experience as a teacher's assistant. He has also tutored at both Ashley Falls Elementary and Carmel Creek Elementary, working with students from grades K-3.
